My Mother kali.

Today I get some time to write to you about the Person whom I love the most but know not anything about her. This is the mother Divine Kali. I will try my best to explain whatever little knowledge I have about her. Before writing to you about her, I would first of all, seek forgiveness from the divine Mother and then from you because though I feel her completely in my heart always, I know nothing about her.The Advaita Vedanta talks about the non dual Brahman or the Self. Self which is nameless, formless, attributeless, birthless and changeless. This is the nature of our Self. But, inspite of this, we see the duality, we see creation, brith and death, attributes, names and forms. When theres isn't anything more than the Self, that Self which is always free from all miseries, how come we see all these dualities, how is it possible for us to see this world to be so true when the fact is that the world never existed, neither time nor space or casualty. This is something to be thought of. Vedanta declares this as Maya or illusion, but how and why is this illusion, it has no answer.Here comes the divine mother Kali. This creation, sustainance and destruction is because of her. This is Her who is behind all these casualties, all these illusions which appears so natural and real. For this creation, she had designed this whole divine play and had put everyone into action though our true nature is actionless.So, to get out of this, we have to take her refuse. He who had bounded can make us free. It is Ma, the Divine Mother, who has kept us engaged into this fare called world. So, it will be the Mother who will free us also. Hence her worship and refuge. To be free from the realms of Maya or illusions.Adi Sankaracharyya was a profound scholar of Advaita Vedanta and a very deep realized soul. He had propagated the Non Dual or advaita nature of the Self in His life, rejected the existence of any other existence causing this Maya.In the banks of the river Ganga in kashi, the ancient name of Varanasi, Lord Shiva and the Mother taught Him about the reality of this Shakti or Power or Mother. And from then, He was instructed to preach the non dual Brahman which is always one with this Mother.There are many ways to worship her. Many different and difficult way where people carry out all sorts of austerities to worship her. She is often considered as very dreaded and most of the people worship her out of fear. But, we worship her or rather love her as our own mother. Ma ( the mother) is a member of our Ashram and she is within us in everything, in every aspect. We don't fear her but love her. In the days of extreme poverty, she was with us just as a mother does to her children, now, when we have started to grow, she is the queen of our Ashram and we are her workers. Its only a relation of love that we have with her and she is well contented with that. She has appeared before us in many occasions and stood up with us hand to hand also. So, she is just a Mother to me and to all my brothers and sisters and to all who comes here to visit her.On the new moon day every month, we worship her specially. I keep fast for the whole day and in the night the puja or worship starts. It is a delight and blissful experience then.I can write this much about her. I am a very ignorant man. Who can speak about her on whose respiration creation and destruction takes place? Oh Ma, take me to your refuge.make me yours O Ma.With millions of salutations to the Mother,Swami Probuddhananda.
